Internship in communications
Alzette, designer of shepherd's vests from Anjou – May/June 2023

Creating content for social media, community management, order management and shipping, after-sales service and customer relations, organizing a photo shoot for a new collection, writing product descriptions for the online store.

Flotilla 33F, Lanvéoc-Poulmic Naval Air Base, French Navy – May/June 2022

Participation in the creation of a day to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the NH90 (Caïman Marine) aircraft within the 33F flotilla. Wrote and laid out a press kit, wrote press releases and press invitations, and wrote Intramar news briefs. Took photographs during the cocktail reception attended by Vice Admiral Éric Janicot, commander of the naval aviation force.

Master's degree in book and publishing studies

Group work, editing a manuscript. Proofreading the manuscript, typesetting the text, and creating a layout. Designing a cover. Promoting the publication of the title.

Group work involving gathering information and testimonials, field research, writing an article/report, creating digital editorial content, and publishing the article on a platform.

(...) Mama Hawa started playing basketball at the age of 5, training with her cousins at UFAB. This is how she discovered her true passion for the sport. As she grew up, her family always supported her. “My uncles really encouraged me to become a professional basketball player,” she says.

“When I started wearing the headscarf at the age of 13, I felt the way people looked at me change,” she continues. At first, wearing the veil during games wasn't a particular problem, but over time, her headscarf began to overshadow her talent and isolate her from the team. She felt that her place on the team was only due to a lack of players. She knew she had to make a decision. “I don't regret it... well, I do regret it... but I think I made the right choice.”

The announcement of her decision to give up basketball upset her family, especially her mother. “I wondered why she had suddenly stopped, she wanted to make it her career,” she recalls. At first, Mama Hawa chose not to reveal the reasons for her decision. But her parents' concern prompted her to confess that her headscarf was now preventing her from playing. “I told them that my faith was more important.” Her family strongly supported her decision. “I thought it was a courageous choice,” says her mother. Communication support from Cegonia – January 2025 to present

Content writing, editorial planning, formatting, and adapting messages for different media. Creating a website and social media accounts. Managing these accounts. Providing support in learning how to use and creating various creative media with a view to handing over responsibility.
